Prior to embarking on my psychotherapy training, I was a corporate lawyer at a City law firm and am acutely aware of the stresses and strains that can go with that sort of career.

As well as having worked extensively with anxiety and stress related issues, I am also experienced working with depression; loss; isolation; relationship difficulties; feelings of stuckness; loss of purpose; infertility (including those undergoing fertility treatment); low self-esteem and trauma.
As a solo-mother to two (including one autistic child), I often work with those considering becoming an SMBC/SPBC (solo mother/parent by choice) as well as with parents of children with additional needs who may be navigating the SEN system and I have a growing interest in working with neurodivergent adults.
Whilst seeing a therapist with particular life experiences might help you feel more understood and avoid you having to explain the "background/system" to a therapist without these experiences, I always endeavour to put my personal experiences to one side so that I can be present to your unique experience.
I am experienced working on both a short-term and long-term basis. In addition to my private practice, I have previously volunteered as a psychotherapist for several years at a low-cost counselling service in North West London and at Edgware NHS Hospital as an honorary counsellor.
